Tithe Act Survey: Schedules & Maps

The schedule listed, for each titheable item in a landholding, the landowner, occupier, area, useage and tithe payable to tithe holder/s - see article for explanation. The schedule summaries below give the totals for each holding. Not all information is given for the titheholder's property. Copies from Hornby Castle estate were annotated with later changes to ownership etc. The maps show the location of the holding items. NOTE: these are summaries and/or modifications of the originals.
